590/98 2.  Minutes
           The minutes of the meeting of 23 November 1998 were approved
           and signed as a correct record.

591/98 3.  Correspondence
           Noted that planning department had taken note of MPC's
           comments about recent applications by Napp.

       4.  Decisions Received

592/98     Appeal by Mr C Crickmore & Crickmore Developments against
(489/97)   enforcement notice and refusal of planning permission for
           land at Chesterton Fen Road - dismissed.

593/98     Mr & Mrs C Sandford 21 Old School Lane - extension and
(486/98)   porch - refused. Would adversely affect amenities enjoyed
           by neighbour at No. 23 - loss of light unacceptable outlook
           from rear bedroom window of No. 23.

594/98     A Van De Riet 261 The Sycamores change of use from open
(525/98)   space/amenity area to garden land and erection of shed
           - approved.

595/98     A Carter 31 Fen Road extension - approved.

596/98     S/1986/98/Advert  Panasonic UK Ltd - sign on building of
           1 Winship Road - No comments.

597/98     S/1995/98 Cambridge Regional College - four team change inc
           ancillary accommodation plus 60m x 50m multi use games area,
           floodlit - No objections.


598/98     S/1999/98/LB Century Inns Plc - The White Horse extension at
           rear, new porch and patio at front, extension of rear car park.
           Patio out of keeping with the building. Car park should not be
           extended right up to boundary of Coles Road/Wilson Way and
           should be constructed with "quiet" tarmac surface, not gravel,
           (including present gravel car park), together with speed control
           - reason:-  cars could race along car park causing nuisance to
           neighbours.
           No objections to internal improvements.  No objections to porch
           so long as it is in keeping with existing building.

599/98     S/2000/98 Century Inns Plc The White Horse - extension at rear,
           new porch and patio at front, extension of rear car park.
           Comments as per above.

600/98     S/2015/98 Mr & Mrs Tolliday 67 Cambridge Road - extension.
           No comments.

601/98     S/2023/98/O R Clark  oa for bungalow at Northern Bridge Farm
           Chesterton Fen Road - accommodation for manager of boarding
           cattery.  Concerns about erection of a building in this
           area and would like confirmation that this application is not
           contrary to any South Cambs Policies.

602/98     S/2024/98 R Clark Northern Bridge Farm Chesterton Fen Road
           boarding cattery.  Concerns about erection of buildings in
           this area and would like confirmation that this application
           is not contrary to any South Cambs Policies.
