The rubber speed cushion on the southbound side of the high street finally broke up today with two segments breaking away from the tarmac. The cushion was put down in Summer 2000 as part of the Milton cycle scheme and it was been deteriorating for some months now.

Both the parish council and your county councillor have complained to County Council officers about it as it was obvious there was a problem (as the photos here taken on 26th April illustrate) but no action was taken.
