Wheeled Bins

From December 2003 villagers in Milton, along with all other residents of South Cambridgeshire district, have their rubbish collected in wheeled bins.

There are two bins: black and green and they are collected on alternate Tuesdays. In broad terms black is for general waste and green is for compostable waste. The latter includes garden waste, cardboard and junk mail and food scraps.

On the same day that the green bin is emptied the green box is also emptied, which gives you the opportunity to re-cycle other sorts of waste.
