Cycle Bridge in Place

Written 08/11/03

Very early on Saturday morning, and hour and a half earlier than expected, our foot/cycle bridge was rolled into position. Phil Mynott, a professional photographer who lives in the village, was on site and had access to the A14 while the move was taking place. He took these photos for us.

Saturday morning, and a rather grey morning finds the bridge in place

Our thanks to Phil Mynott for these photographs.

You can find more photos of the bridge in place here and of those amazing heavy lifters (taken before the bridge was moved) here.

You can work back through earlier articles on the bridge starting here.
