If you have been down Fen Road you may be wondering what is happening in the fields both sides of the road on the village side of the railway line.

The field south of Fen Road ...

It's the archaeological survey which the Rowing Lake trustees have to undertake before they are allowed to start digging out the lake itself.

The work is being undertaken by Oxford Archaeology on behalf of the Rowing Lake Trust.
