Written 15/06/03 Spencer Maltby and Jim Daniels, as champions of Cambridgeshire, qualified to play in the National carpet bowls championships held at Barnsley and the Eastern Counties championships at Braintree. They finished runner-up to Northumberland in the Nationals and won the Eastern Counties championships with a 100% record.
