Jim Daniels won the Cambridgeshire Carpet Bowls Singles Championship held at Milton on Sunday 9 March. On the same day Spencer Maltby and Jim together won the Pairs and will be Cambridgeshire's representatives at the National Championships which to be held in Yorkshire and at the Eastern Counties Championships in Norfolk.
