The skate park on Sycamores Rec opened for business last weekend. The skate park cost about £20,500 and was funded by grants from a variety of bodies including:

In addition local youngsters ran a car wash and did a sponsored run to help with the funding.

There are some minor works still to be done to finish it off but this isn't stopping it getting well used.
