Cambridgeshire ACRE is supporting the local roll-out of the Switchover Help Scheme which aims to help people to understand the changes to how our television signal will be received from the end of March 2011 onwards. The analogue signal will be switched off and replaced with a digital signal that you will need special equipment to receive. They need local volunteers to help raise awareness and make sure no one misses out on the help that is available to make the necessary changes.
They are looking for people who are willing to make use of their local connections, knowledge and networks to spread the word. If you think you could help the message reach some of the most vulnerable people in our communities please read the attached information and return a completed `Volunteer Form' to be invited to a training event which is taking place on 27 January at the Cambridge Development Centre.
