All people who look after another person's child, who are not a close relative, for more than two hours in any one day, must be registered with social services. This involves practical training, first aid and checks by the police. In the first instance, call the number above for a list of registered child minders, or visit the website where you can perform an online search for registered child minders.

Milton Action for Youth

Milton Youth Group meets Tuesday nights from 6.30pm for 11-15s during term time. There will also be a stall at this year's Summer Fayre.
Milton and Waterbeach Children's Centre
Cambridgeshire County Council plans to develop a Children's Centre for the Milton and Waterbeach area by 2010. Children's Centres offer support to all families with children under five by providing easier access to health services and family support. Milton Youth Centre
A new building set beside The Sycamores Recreation ground. Good parking facilities. Has a well equipped kitchen. Main area has a pool table, table tennis and air hockey. Tables and chairs to seat 30. A separate room is equipped with 4 networked computers as well as toilet facilities. Run by the Milton Community Centre. Available for hire for social/activity groups and small parties, functions, etc. Not suitable for groups or parties under 5 years of age.
