    Tel. 883130. A local community based charity which provides support, services and infomation to children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, and their families and carers.   • East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH)
    Tel. 205180. Cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs. Also supports their families. Care at end of life, bereavement support, short break care, specialist play, music therapy and practical help, advice & information. Open Days at the Milton hospice are held during Spring and Autumn and everyone is welcome.

  • Inspire: Wellbeing Through Arts
    Tel. 441106. Committed to the promotion of the value of the arts within a holistic approach to health and to the provision of arts and disablility information. Currently run a 'Creative Days' session for disabled adults on a Thursday in Milton, as well as other projects in Cambridge and the surrounding area.

  • The Jean Gallagher Trust
    Set up in July 1983 to help with the elderly (i.e. those over fifty) within the parish. The Trust is administered by the Trustees of the Milton Parochial Charities. Over the years, funds have been allocated to the Over 60s Club, trips to Lee Abbey and Milton Bowls Club. Contact Beryl Waterson on 423124.

  • Milton Parochial Charities
    Has owned land in Milton Fen since the 16th Century. Other land in Chittering was added in 1622. Annual rent from the land is invested and funds are allocated as specified in the Trust Deed: half for the relief of those in need in the parish; one quarter for the general benefit of village inhabitants; and one quarter to the parochial church council for repairs and upkeep of the church. Trustees may not allocate funds to help with taxes, rates or assistance with supplementing relief funds. Contact Beryl Waterson on 423124.

  • Ormiston Children and Families Trust
    Tel. 426148. One of the largest charities supporting children, young people and their families in the East of England. Currently have 34 community and prison based projects across seven counties. Their mission is to reach those children and young people most disadvantaged by their life experiences and circumstances.

  • Phoenix Trust
    Tel. 420699. Main objective is to advance the education of disadvantaged young people and adults with special needs by providing sheltered work experience, training and opportunities to achieve qualifications. Located on the Milton Trading Estate, a wide range of products available to the public to suit all paving requirements including slabs, edgings and wall blocks.
