Recycling
- Bulky Item Collection
South Cambs District Council will collect bulky household items by arrangement. The charge is £30 for the first three items and £5 per extra item booked at the same time. If you prefer, you cant take the items yourself to the Milton Recycling Center (see below). There is no charge for leaving items there.

Tel. 863657. You can recycle furniture and bric-a-brac at Emmaus Cambridge Community, Green End, Landbeach.
- Freecycle
A large number of Milton residents give away goods they no longer need and receive things they want through this online notice board. Prevents unnecessary landfill and helps build a strong community through sharing.

Located in Butt Lane on the other side of the A10, Milton Recycling Centre is a convenient site for disposing of reasonable amounts of household waste.

- Tesco Car Park Recycling Facilities
Tesco provides space in its car park for recycling cans (inc. aerosols), bottles, newspapers, magazines, clothes, shoes and tetrapaks (cardboard cartons lined with wax/foil which hold milk, juice, etc). The facility is managed by South Cambs District Council, which is responsible for collecting items. In the outer lobby, there are banks for hangers and carrier bags.
