I have emailed AWA thus: (with copies to SCDC)

"Dear AWA

The smell from the Cambridge sewage works has been very bad over the last two weeks. I am being inundated with complaints.

One resident tried phoning AWA and found that he was talking to your Lincoln office. He was very unimpressed with the response and the rather flippant and unhelpful comment made by that office.

Please let me know what is causing this smell to be so overpowering in Milton so that I can at least explain to residents.

This is not really good enough in the 21st Century. If you care to read through Milton Parish Council minutes at the beginning of the 20th Century - 100 years ago - you will find this subject recurring time after time."
