Kerbside Recycling

Milton has a kerbside recycling scheme which allows you to re-cycle various items simply by leaving them outside your house on the appropriate day. Re-cycling helps reduce land fill saving valuable resources and reducing waste.

You should have two green boxes, supplied by South Cambridgeshire District Council in which you can put a variety of items. The scheme is explained on this page on the SCDC web site.

For most compostable waste, including cardboard, you also have a green bin. For metal scrap, waste oil, building waste the Recycling Centre at the land fill site in Butt Lane is still the place to go.
