As you may have already heard the man murdered in Milton high street in the early hours of Tuesday morning was a 39 year old Richard John Couzens who lived on Fen Road. Witnesses from the White Horse saw Mr Couzens buying drinks and playing on the fruit machine. It is believed he had been carrying a quantity of cash. He was last seen at 11:45pm outside the pub talking on his mobile phone. Police now believe the motive may have been robbery as he was found without any money on his person.

Police activity in the village has been high since Tuesday with the helicopter taking video of the area and fingertip searches of gardens. On Tuesday evening they were stopping passing motorists and asking them if they had been in the area the previous night.

Police are asking that anyone who was in the White Horse on Monday night and has yet to come forward ot who lived locally and has any information to contact them.
