Community Access Point

Written 26/04/05

Milton Country Park has broadband for you. As part of South Cambridgeshire District Council's Community Access Scheme the park has been supplied with two computers for community use. Each is connected to broadband internet and can be used to set up and receive your web based emails. In addition each computer has a CD burner for storing any files you wish to create, one of the computers is also linked to a scanner and printer. so there is nothing to stop you from becoming more familiar with computers anymore.

The access points will be open whenever "Swallows" kiosk is open and at other times by arrangement with the Rangers. If you would like to use the computers all you will need to do is fill out an application form and then start to book your sessions. The park is aiming to run the computers for free to enable as many people as possible to use them but will be charging for any printing to cover the cost of ink and paper.

So if you want to use a computer or would like to help others to use them get in touch with the Rangers on 01223 420060.
