A company called PSS Support has been putting leaflets through doors around the village collecting clothes etc for "disabled from birth". If you have missed this on previous occasions SCDC have put out warnings about this sort of thing. We've seen Olonex come and go, and Merico, and Realmday and then in November we had Lunetex and again in January.

Please don't give PSS anything, as their own leaflet makes clear they are not a charity. Just to confuse things further Scope are also collecting in the village on Monday, so there's a danger that PSS will collect Scope bags and it would probably be wise not to put a bag out for Scope either. As it happens the Salvation Army are also collecting in the village on Tuesday so you could put a bag out for them. Alternatively the scouts hold regular jumble sales. (Please tell your friends and neighbours about this one too.)
