Lynne Twinn, who has served on the council for over seven years after being elected in the council's last by-election, has had to stand down due to ill health. Her contribution on the council will be missed by councillors.

As a result we now have another vacancy and the notice for it has now been posted. Unless ten electors ask for a by-election, which is unlikely, then council will co-opt someone at a future meeting.
