As you will know from previous postings we have a problem with youths hanging around Tesco and the Community Centre which villagers find intimidating and their presence has been linked to an increase in vandalism in these locations and elsewhere in the village.

Tesco have now recruited three new security guards to deal with their problems. The police are also increasing patrols but are looking for your help in identifying the youths involved. If you can help call the police on 0845 456 4564 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Similarly please report any damage to your property.

And if you see see any criminal behaviour actually taking place then please dial 999.

Remember that the amount of policing our village gets is largely determined by the amount of crime reported, so if we fail to report crime we get less police cover.
