We seem to be suffering from another round of vandalism and anti-social
behaviour, especially on Coles Road Rec. Last week it was the spider web boarding that was vandalised and the bowls green fence and surface was damaged.
Last weekend we had young men with dogs and bikes in the tennis courts, some using it as a toilet. Eleven fence panels ripped out at the side of the Annexe, and bins were upturned and one burnt out at the tennis courts.
And on Tuesday night someone got into the first floor of the Community Centre upstairs and put washing up liquid in the kettle and left the fire door open all evening.
We are still without a PCSO so can we emphasis again the need to ring 999
if you see any crime being committed. If you don't feel you can justify ringing 999 then at least tell the police control room by ringing them on
0845 456 456 4.
Only by doing this will we get the regular police patrols we clearly need.
