They need your help - Tsunami Disaster

Please donate generously to support people affected by the tsunamis in Sri Lanka.

There have been more than 100,000 deaths and an estimated 5 million people have lost everything they had. It'll take years for them to re-build their lives. Your donation will certainly be appreciated.

We are collecting clothes, medicines and dry food for those in need in Sri Lanka (more than 23,111 deaths and one million homeless).

Clothes - Men, Women underwear, Sanitary napkins, Towels, Men Women Clothes, Shoes

Medicines - Piriton, Paracetamol, Plasters, Cotton Bandages, Surgical Spirit, Surgical Gloves

Baby Items - Feeding bottles, Baby Clothes, Baby Towels

General Items - Soap, Torches, Batteries, Blankets

Dry food - Powdered Milk, Rice, Baby Food, etc

Cooking utensils (preferably unbreakable) - Pots, Pans, Plastic containers, Knives, Spoons, Water bottles

Please bring your donations to one of the 2 collection points, safely packed ready to be despatched by Friday the 7th of January 2005.

2. Bharat Bhavan (the old Library), Mill Road, Cambridge. [29th, 30th, 4th, 5th and 6th (6pm to 8pm)]

Goods will be collected by an organisation working with the Sri Lankan High Commission in the UK and will be delivered to Sri Lanka by Trico Welfare Association, UK. *(Please note: we do not collect money)

Money can be donated to one of the following organisations.

www.emergencydonations.gov.lk - Online donations for tsunami victims of Sri Lanka, Prime Minister's Office.

www.rupavahini.lk - The National Television of Sri Lanka or at your local Post Office
